If I'm Montreal. . . . .I drive Patches to the airport! That's a crazy deal. Montreal would be lucky to get RNH straight up! Not likely to happen.

I think it's a great idea. Paches for two years beside McDavid ?! Deadky if he can score thirty with plekanec cantering his line I wonder if he'd hit 40 goal mark wuth mcdavid

Pacioretty is our Captain and he score 30 goal/year since 11-22 (exept in the lock out season) and we paid him 4.5m its a ''steal'' I don't think MB would trade Pacioretty right now for RNH. Julien gonna try Chucky at center again and Drouin gonna get a try too. What i'm seeing is... sit back and watch for now.

Maybe I've missed something, but RNH is simply a second line center. Pacioretty is one of the best left wingers in the entire NHL on a great contract (not like Montreal has cap issues, but still). This is a ridiculous trade for the Habs, and Marc Bergevin would be even more deserving of being fired than he is now

Maybe Montreal can get more elsewhere, but it still is a fair deal. One of the advantages is it allow Drouin to stay on the wing, instead of would could be a bad move if he goes to centre.

no way habs accept that,patches has been our best scorer for 4+ yrs. he scored 30+ in the last 5 full seasons. what is RNH gonna do for us score 15 goals
