Only think about this trade that might not work is getting rid of Hagelin. His cap hit is very problematic, especially considering his lack of production! I think that trade would require a 2nd, 3rd and all the pens would get back would be Eakin.

Eakin didn't exactly light it up last year so I think that trade might work. The Tierney trade also looks good.

I think you underpay for Eakin. But not that much as Connor thinks. Eakin didn't have a good season either, so Hagelin plus a 2nd would be enough to acquire him. But w/o any pick in return.

Tierney's trade has a fair value.

However, Rust on 4th is a terrible mistake. He's good both on defense and offense. Besides, his offensively production is more than enough to put him at least as a 3rd line winger.
