He is terrible but not quite as much as some people say, he improved defensively this year, but then again he played with Tanev, and literally Antone can play well with him. I would say #6/#7 dman

McPhee didn't make great picks, but a better example would be Emelin, not Bellemare. Bellemare's a good player.

i agree that he didn't make very good picks, this team's gonna come last i'd say, but Bellemare isn't a good example. He's an okay defensive forward and is a great leader.

why draft a leader that shouldn't be in the lineup? Thats all they here "Bellemare is a leader...blah blah blah..." Who actually cares? He isn't gifted in offense and is okay in defense.

leadership is very important in hockey. and he can also play an okay defensive game ... i'd call him a 3rd liner.
