THESE TRADES ARE OBVIOUSLY ALL JOKES

I just made this to say how much I am going to miss this place. Let's face it, there just isn't a great place/message board to discuss the NHL, trades, etc and get cap info. HFBoards is the only other place and it is a complete and total joke. I can't belong to a place where mods can do and say whatever they want, and if so much as disagree with them on an opinion they find a way to suspend you.

Anyway, where is everyone going after this closes next week?

haha, .....LOL

EDIT: your post wasn't up when i was typing this, so i was actually reacting to to your joke, not your comment,

good times seeing crazy trades and everyone argue how much more valuable their players are.

I think PuckPedia is trying to recreate this but let’s be honest.. it’s probably not going to be the same.

I joined last summer, and I think this was the best thing I could of did. I just hope that the majority of the users here move to the new PuckPedia site, while keeping their username. Would be cool

It’s really disappointing we’re going to lose a great resource. This has been one of the only websites I go to with any regularity, and it’s a great place to learn about all the teams and their players and prospects. I still believe no one really understands what your team needs better than the fans who watch all the games. If you’re paying enough attention, you really know hockey. You know what your guys are capable of, and you know what they don’t do well. This was a place to see what other teams fans say their team needs, and find out who across the league fit what your Team should be looking for. Apparently, many teams’ analytics departments use this website for information, which is why the Caps bought it. Maybe it’s possible they took a peek at what everyone was saying too. Some of those mock trades may have spun the wheels of the people who really make things happen. Of course, we will never know if it actually happened that way.

I literally am on this site everyday, I ****in hate the Caps for this even more now. They may have surpassed the Islanders just because of this ****ty move.

Either way, PuckPedia has a GM mode in construction, probably won't be anything like this, but beggars can't be choosers I guess. Happy for the CapFriendly guys but feel bad for everyone who utilizes this site as a fun resource and a way to put yourself in the big chair and dream what could be.

Thanks for the memories I guess!
