Philly Binnington Toropchenko STL Bonk futures
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CantStopWontStop</b></div><div>I’m basing this off Elliot Friedman saying that it’s possible Philly searches out a low cost goalie at this deadline. The rest was mashed together. What better home for Ron Hextall version 2.0?
Also, I’m a complete moron - I know what position sanhiem plays but forgot when making the deal. My mind decided he was on the right for that moment in history. O well.
I’m unsure what goalie would fit the low cost title (who is also playing well). Obv there’s term with binnington, but when I look at the rest of the market, I don’t see the options.</div></div>
So you read a report saying the Flyers might be interested in a "low cost" goalie and then you propose trading 2 1sts for a goalie?

Like it's kinda pathetic not to value a player just because of the logo on the front of his jersey.</div></div>
God are you insufferable. You post the same crap over and over again. You receive the same feedback over and over again that you reject. If you're not interested in feedback, then don't bother sharing your ideas. You won't be missed.

Whats the cost
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Clarky11</b></div><div>It’s obviously been said but McGroarty would be the asking price for TK. I’m not even sure Briere would consider another player in a return. Like you could package Barlow and Lambert and I bet the Flyers would decline.</div></div>
If it's both TK and a retained Walker, I could probably be ok with Barlow, Lambert, a 1st and a 2nd. But OP is a joke wanting TK and Walker and thinking their top 3 pieces would be off the table.

Sens 23-24
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sk540</b></div><div>Agree to disagree. I think the Flyers would 100% pass on this deal. I think Joseph is overpaid for what he is and it's a big IF if he returns to his 21-22 form.
I also love some of the points people make for TK and ADB, such as, ADB is younger. He's younger by 10 months, it's an absolute moot point.
ADB came with a 4 year extension, TK only has 2 years remaining. OK, so in two years when the "older" TK is up for an extension, every team has more money since the cap has gone up and your cap situation is in a better position. TK can probably garner what ADB will get in two years, so you have the same player pretty much, but with two years of more wiggle room.
The quality of the team around him also helps, as he was on a wing with perhaps the greatest american born player ever, while TK has never had a player like that, save for the few instances TK played on G's wing. G primarily played LW with Voracek on the right wing, and only played C half the season before he got traded to FLA.
ADB also had the advantage of playing more minutes in general and has been employed on the PP way more than TK has in his career.
In summation, I think I'd prefer TK than ADB. I think ADB benefitted a lot from playing with Kane and no one in front of him and TK has been on a worse team with lesser linemates and less time on the ice. I also think TK's trending in a much better way than ADB and I wouldn't have given all that money to a guy off a down year like DET did, but he's not your problem anymore.</div></div>
You're missing the most important distinction. ADB only "came with a 4 year extension" because he was an RFA. He effectively had a NTC because he could just tell any other team he would refuse to sign with them. The Senators market for ADB was limited to only the teams ADB was willing to sign with. The Flyers market for TK has no restrictions. More bidders = higher offers.

Do the comments on this website not display in Canada? Because Leafs fans do not seem to be getting the message that Philly has no reason to trade Konecny for Reilly.

Burns for Voracek and Laine for Provorov
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CheechYou</b></div><div>I like the Flyers, a top-5 team in the NHL as a fan. But I'm seriously worried about their year next year on defense. I was very worried even with Niskanen since it was plain as day to anyone closely watching the Flyers in the playoffs this past postseason that they could NOT generate ANY offense from their blueline, even to just help out their forwards, let alone contribute with points. That was their undoing.
PHI needed to improve then. And now on top of that, Nisky is gone too. I'm sorry, but a Sanheim-Myers (very very good pairing) but after that Ghost-Gustafsson and Hagg-Braun pairing is just a disaster in the making to round out the defense beyond the top pair. DISASTER.</div></div>
You're forgetting a guy named Provorov. And they will address top-4 RD after the expansion draft. No reason to take on Burns contract.

Can you please stop proposing Burns for Voracek. Philly would have zero interest in that trade.
