Description
Everything just makes so much sense.

Montreal Trade especially.

Big tough D group

Team is taking a gamble at goaltending but can always trade for a better goalie at TDL with the remaining cap space.

Montreal would be calling the League to make sure it went thought right away.

Fraser is the most valuable piece in this trade

Habs giving up a pair of 3 pair D and an overpriced 3rd line Center? come on

And I know your going to say Savard is GOD but hes a 3rd pair D

Fraser is very interesting but the return is not good, Yes Savard is a good 3rd pairing but he bring something else, Montreal need him to help the young defense, if he get trade is at the trade deadline for a good return

If they made this deal they get Frasier and opened up $6M to get a UFA like Tanev or similar

At the end of the day none of the pieces they give up will be missed and Jankrok is cheap and versatile. can play any position and up and down the lineup. Only reason you see him traded so much on here is because of the cap situation. I really don't see the Leaf's moving him

No need to assume and project what i'd say. It's useless hubris.
No, no one thinks Savard is a God...

Look at EVERY single Leafs team on here: everyone is dumping Jankror. He's mid. Habs wouldn't trade Dvorak for him
Dvorak has 1 year left and playts center, which the Habs need. They will ride out his last year.
Jankror is a mid forward with 2 years left. Habs have Anderson, Gallagher AND Armia to fill that role.

Kovaevic is getting a 3rd or 4th, so that's fair.

And Savard is NOT a God... but he's more valuable than an average fan believes. I know you value himm, because you are trying to get him in your trade.
So, Savard is etremely valuable for the Habs this year since their D is super young and he's a leader.
They will most likely trade him at the TDL if the Habs are out of the picture, which they probably will, retain some salary and get a 2nd for him. Minten is a 2nd round pick who had an 'ok' season in juniors this year.

So it's not a slam dunk... Jankrok for Dvorak, Habs refuse. In my humble opinion. I may be wrong.
Kovacevic for the 4th, sure. I think they can pull a 3rd because of his ludicrious contract.
And Savard for Minten, it's close, but Habs need Savard on the right side this year.

So... I did that with respect. Without assuming and belittling ALL LEAFS FANS in the process... can you try and be respectful like this?

That's all I'm doing. Giving my opinion.
Cheers

Only reason you see Järnkrok traded so much on here is because of the Leafs cap situation. I really don't see the Leaf's moving him. Jankrok is cheap and versatile. can play any position and up and down the lineup. Järnkrok > Dvorak and is half the cap hit.

As far as Savard I understand his value to Montreal however to the rest of the NHL he's a 3rd pair D and does not return a A level prospect in the summer with all the UFA D available. including Fraser in this deal is crazy when you think how little the Leaf's have in terms of Prospects.

Replace Fraser with someone like Robertson and value wise would make more sense But the Leaf's would not have the cap space to make it work
