Necas is younger cheaper better, and he scored around 75 pts in 22-23

should we start with the fact that Tolvanen isn't worth 5.4 mil per, nor is he worth a 1st round pick.
In 81 games he had 16 goals and 41 points. He's worth maybe 4.5.
On top of it, you look at a comparable like Smith, who in 76 games had 13 goals and 40 points, and he's apparently worthless on here, but real value is a 3rd.

I really hate to break it to you but you just fleeced yourself. Tolvanen might be worth a 2nd in a trade.
They you give up both Quinn and a 1st for Necas.... that's an over pay.

he's not cheaper when you are buying out Skinner at 4 and 6 mil per year.

They are not adding a big contract after the skinner buyout. Have to pay Peterka, Quinn, Benson, Levi UPL along with the bad 4 years of the skinner buyout can’t do it.

I'm overpaying tolvanen so the karken would not equalize the offer. I don't really believe in Quinn in a top 6 (injuries), so that's my opinion.

obviously you are overpaying. but what I'm telling you is that is a mistake. If you don't believe me, go look at CAR now and the KK contract.
It was a dumb idea then and it's a dumb idea now.
It's best to walk away and not over pay the player and give up assets.
He's not that great of a player, he's not going to make or break BUF.

Tolvanen really could be a 50-60 pts scorer, I always hate KK they are a lot different. maybe Tolvanen isn't gonna score 80 pts, but he's not KK.
