Moving Rinzel is a BAD idea.

The only one of those deals I would have an interest in for the Hawks is acquiring Knight from Florida.

Chicago is aelling their cap space at a discount price in the Vancouver trade.

MvGroarty is an intriguing prospect but good RHD are extremely hard to find, I would just as soon keep Rinzel; who has progressed nicely since being drafted; and the 1st round pick.

There are worse parts of this for the Hawks, but I don’t know why in the world they’d give Raddysh a three year deal. He’s 26 and coming off a 14 point season where he played 73 games. Raddysg shouldn’t be on the roster this year over Landon Slaggert, but you have the Hawks with 10 forwards already signed for next year, not counting Kurashev, Slaggert, Oliver Moore, any of the Hawks picks in this year’s draft, or any of the many forward prospects who might be ready for the NHL next year.

Yes no way you’re getting a mid 1st round pick n a solid 1st round rhd prospect for McGroarty. Mcgroarty is a very solid prospect but is at best a 2nd line winger. Great leader, great size but His skating isn’t the greatest.

Yeah. Not only that, but untested prospects who are basically demanding a trade do not get back more value than they were originally drafted with. If anything they get less. Gauthier for Drysdale as the most recent comp, Drysdale was an injury prone reclamation project RD. You can cite his original draft position, but that doesn't matter. It is highly unlikely that WPG gets a package for him that WPG fans are going to feel great about. It is far more likely that they get something very underwhelming.
