TO would be crazy to offer that much for Ullmark. They dont need him at all. They have 1 place on their roster where they can legitimately SAVE cap space. And thats with their young goalies. If they never let them play. And just keep wasting money on new goalies, they will never be able to upgrade the rest of the team, utilize the value of their young players cheap contracts, and grow their goalies into better players.
That Marner trade is not possible. LV cant pay him. Vagas still needs to shed 8-10m off their current team just to get under the cap for next season and fill out their roster.
You have them TAKING ON about 3m additional dollars in this deal.
The only way a TO/LV trade works is if TO takes back more money then they send out.
