It would look better if it were 2 separate trades imo.

Pulock for ehlers 1 for 1 is a good hockey trade. Fills positional needs for both teams. They have nearly identical cap hits and are around the same age.

A young 3rd line winger (with upside to be more) an nhl ready defense prospect and pick 20 seems fair for McGroarty. Prob won’t be the best offer they get. Not the worst offer either but I don’t think the isles are a team that’s in on him anyways

Yeah that's just it. The value for the McGroarty part isn't awful, it just doesn't have the main piece Winnipeg would look for.
