I think Drury would be wise to do whatever it takes to get McGroarty he’s an energetic physical forward who not only will help Zibanejad and Kreider this gets but also grow into a young core that will eventually be headlines by him, Gabe Perreault, and Alexis Lafreniere. He’s Americans born which is all Drury cares about lol I expect the Rangers to be all over this and they can offer a first which is something Winnipeg doesn’t currently have. Othmann is a tier below Rutger obviously but with an opportunity in Winnipeg he could thrive much like Zac Jones who needs a shot to stay in the lineup for an extended period of time. I could see Winnipeg being interested in either of Lindgren or Schneider or possibly even Kakko. This would also leave the NYR with about $10 million to fill out two left handed D which is doable and they clearly need to add size and puck moving to the back end
