Winning a cup is hard, can't load up for 1 shot, in case it doesn't work this roster gives the organization several years of chances to go deep.

Wallstedt is ready for Minnesota to eb the #1, would be a good battle between 2 swedish goalies and Fleury as their mentor. It also helps Minnesota relief some cap.

All acquired players are late 20's early 30's in their 'early' prime and ready to compete for 4-5 years (entire Matthews contract term).

Acquired depth on the back-end in case of injuries we have real NHL D's ready. Team is 700k over cap but can always waive 1 of the 2 young guys.

The trade with Philly is the most difficult part and the deciding factor for this roster. Briere is known to make 'ballsy' moves, he can shop for more high draft picks for this and next year to send Marner somewhere with retention, great asset for Philly to get what they want. Only if Philly and Marner can agree on the landing spot, this would be huge.

I know this is far sought but could be realistic. Trade can happen on the draft day!
