NSH was previously asking NJD for their 1st round pick (before it was confirmed to be 10OA, but it was still known it would be a lottery pick) and Dawson Mercer for Saros. Moore had a breakout season, but there is no guarantee he does that again, and he is likely a 20 goal scorer on a regular basis and Kalieyev would be a complete reclamation project.

An elite goalie, who is generally seen as a top-5 goalie in the league, isn't acquired with a middle-six forward and a reclamation project. IMO, if you want Trotz's attention, be willing to part with either Kempe or Byfield. I realize that the chances of that are virtually zero, but that is the caliber of player LA would need to part with in order to get Saros (and yes, in the case of Byfield NSH would likely add on top of Saros, but it would something like a 2nd round pick or two).
