Description

Philadelphia moves up from 12 overall to 7 overall. Other players and picks may be included to level the deal, but this is the simplified version from Bruins perspective.

Bruins have a well balanced, defensive minded team in this scenario. Bruins basically replace DeBrusk, Maroon, Brazeau, JVR, Shattenkrk, and Ullmark with Konecny, Lindholm, Poitras, Lysell, Martinez, and DiPietro/Bussi.

I'd absolutely love if the bruins did this trade, the signing on the other hand. There's better bottom pair defensemen out there that are the same price and 6-8 years younger. Don't need a slow, old dman on the back end, had that with forbort and hes not coming back.

It more on the line of Konecny going to the bruins is the problem

I'd rather get Konecny than Ullmark. And TK value is much higher than both Chych or Ullmark so Boston obviously wins this trade and Ottawa gets shafted

yes I completely missed that, my bad.

If I was Staios, getting one of Silayev, Parekh, or Dickinson at 7th overall would be more important to me then landing Ullmark

Then the trade for Ullmark would focus on picks instead of Chychrun. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just be separate deals.
