I don't think that Rob Blake believes in trading a first-round draft pick and additional assets for a rental defenseman.

Buffalo wouldn't trade us Alex Tuch just to get a prospect who isn't as highly regarded as Kulich, Ostlund, Rosen or Savoie, and that's assuming that Tuch = Moore.

Englund for distant dart throws is an undersell and Reaves for Grundstrom is a loss.

I'd be shocked if Jake Guentzel signed for less than $8.5 million, especially in high-tax California.

Tuch should be a career Sabre going forward. The only reason he would leave would be if he asks to, and I can’t imagine why he would. There are few players more excited about playing in Buffalo than he is.

This is my dream roster. Grundstrom just wouldn’t fit as good as a true grinder like reaves. Cousins brings vet experience and we would benefit from him being in that Florida scheme. Team has tons of cap next year to extended Chychrun, Guentzel I think would take the longevity over a short term deal above 8 AAV. Working on a realistic one now

I feel like this doesnt need to be said but boston hangs up the phone before they hear what they have to give up. A 3rd and a 4th for gavrikov is pretty asinine. He makes nearly 6 million and would play on the bottom pair, brutal deal for boston, complete cap dump.
