Nazar is likely to start in the AHL. I would consider bringing in Ceci from Edmonton or Holl from Detroit as a cap dump with a pick attached to play 3rd line RHD. Dickinson deserves to play top 9 and should. Edmonton will need to give up more than a late 1st to move Campbell.

In both of those proposals the return for the Hawks is a little light.

Puckpedia values 2 x $12m in cap relief as the 8th pick in the draft, so in my opinion you have the 3rd round pick going the wrong way… as a matter of fact, the 3rd should be upgraded to a 2nd round pick this year.

Puckpedia also values dumping the remainder of Campbell’s contract (3 x $5m) at the 14th pick of the 1st round. If the Oilers add a decent prospect (Akey), the Hawks probably accept.
