I legit think the only way Edmonton moves Nurse is if they're swapping him for one of Huberdeau or PLD, and Nurse likely says no anyway. It's that, retain significantly, or sell your next few draft classes entirely to move him.

secretly I think 1-1 Nurse for PLD would be a good move for both teams. would move nurse down in mins and he would most likely play with a solid partner letting him return to form a bit and while being overpaid when he signed the deal he was easily worth 5-6m for how he was playing, with cap going up that would move it to 6-7m so its a lot easier to swallow. Edm could use some depth scoring and PLD on a team that has the best powerplay could be huge. he would just need to learn how to control his attitude a bit and he would be a good fit for edm.
