Apparently, Habs fans' hatred for Zegras even extends to when they're not trading for him.
We wouldn't trade Zegras for Cates and Frost, and Petersen has gigantic negative value. And we should add a bright prospect and a second-round draft pick?!?!? This one is Hall-of-Shame-worthy.
Brett Leason scored more points (both raw and on PPG average) than Klim Kostin last season, and we should add our perfectly viable #4C?
Leason makes Olivier unnecessary. It's just your luck that the only trade you've created that doesn't raise a stench in the nostrils of the righteous is completely moot.
There's no point for Los Angeles to trade one excellent fourth-liner for three ordinary ones.
Vaakanainen is far more valuable than Timmins, Jones is more valuable than the utterly redundant LhD, Woll isn't appealing because we have Dostal even if we trade Gibson, Gibson isn't waiving for Toronto and we wouldn't retain 50% on him even if he did, the fourth is more valuable than the sixth and seventh, and adding Colangelo and Clara in a package which is already at least one first-round-draft-pick off elevates this trade from the atrocious to the astronomically offensive.
Gus Lindstrom is an NHL-quality third-pairing defenseman at a minimum-contract level. Even if he were only worth a fifth, adding two prospects is awful misevaluation.
I know that you've only been on this site for a month, and therefore we should cut you some slack, but damn, this is the worst Anaheim ACGM I can ever remember seeing on CapFriendly.
