ANA
  1. Bobrovsky, Sergei
Détails additionnels:
Florida won the cup, now comes the cup tax. Major pieces of their core are up for renewal in the next two years, and they just can't hang onto Bob's cap hit anymore (for reference, Reinhart, Bennett, Verhege, Lundell, Ekblad, Montour, maybe 1 or 2 more)

This move saves 3.4 million per season, gives them an extra season of control with a younger goalie who has shown in the past to be excellent, and has shown he can be a workhorse. Give him a team that he thinks he can steal games for and he will excell. He also plays a very athletic style, just like Bob does.
FLA
  1. Gibson, John
Détails additionnels:
Three team trade, Bob is going to New Jersey, just passing through Anaheim for salary retention.

Before you lot start screaming about Gibson being bad 1: remember a few years ago Bob had a completely immoveable contract and he bounced back and 2: look at Stolarz's stats going from Anaheim to Florida last year.
2.
ANA
  1. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (NJD)
Détails additionnels:
New Jersey gets the GOAT coming off a Stanley cup run to backstop their team at 6 million AAV, he will provide the elite goaltending they need.
NJD
  1. Bobrovsky, Sergei (4 000 000 $ retained)
Détails additionnels:
Anaheim has the ability to retain on Bob due to his contract structure. Anaheim would acquire him post his bonus being signed, so it's 40% of 5 million next year, and 6 million the year after.
3.
ANA
  1. Campbell, Jack
  2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2025 (EDM)
Détails additionnels:
Edmonton can't afford to have Jones occupying 3.9 million in dead cap space anymore, after a Stanley cup final appearance, and on McDavid and Draisaitl renewals looming, they have to go for it, and Campbell has lost the confidence of the team, the coaching staff, and the front office.

Jones is just a minor sweetener for cheap depth.
EDM
  1. Jones, Max [Droits de RFA]
Détails additionnels:
Campbell can try to recover his game in a low stress market in Anaheim. They may make a post season run once or twice during his contract, but they will just be flirting with their playoff window. Worst case scenario they buy him out.
4.
ANA
  1. Gudbranson, Erik
  2. Laine, Patrik
Détails additionnels:
Laine and Columbus want to part ways, this gets Laine out of the eastern conference with minimal further interaction with his soon to be firmer team. Laine gets to join a group with some extremely talented playmakers where he won't be expected to be "The Guy" he'll just be part of the team.

Gudbranson goes because Anaheim needs a RHD and Jiricek needs a roster spot.
CBJ
  1. Moore, Ian [Liste de réserve]
  2. Strome, Ryan
  3. Choix de 1e ronde en 2024 (EDM)
Détails additionnels:
Columbus's main benefit of the deal is severing ties with Laine and clearing out 8 million in cap space (and that's after factoring in Strome's contract).

I'm the interim, they get a versatile middle 6 right shot forward who can play C or W as needed. Yeah, you'd like him to make $500k less than he does, but he's a very liveable contract for a few years and a decent locker room presence.
5.
ANA
  1. Choix de 5e ronde en 2024 (PHI)
Détails additionnels:
Completely forgot to add a sweetener to the FLA deal. Cheap LHD who's looking pretty good so far.
FLA
  1. LaCombe, Jackson [Droits de RFA]

Bob will never waive...especially after winning the cup there.

With Florida interesting in extending Stolarz...its probably Knight that moves.

Gibson hasn’t been good since pre covid though, it’s not just 1 or 2 years where he’s struggled. It doesn’t make sense for Florida to significantly downgrade in net, and it doesn’t make sense for NJ to trade a top 10 pick for a soon to be 36 year old goalie

And I doubt they’ll trade a top 10 pick for Markstrom if that deal happens
