Schmid was fine to take the reins to shut the rags up last yr, and was also overplayed.

Schmid’s stats were solid outside of those 2 games where he had to start on 0 days rest because ****ek called in sick.

Of course, those 2 games, the 30 or so games of ****ek, and the last games before Allen and Kahkonen came over where daws had been utterly worn down bc Vitek again got hurt

Every single fanbase with an expensive goalie is convinced that their specific goalie is screwed in ways that the stats don’t show.

Now of course I’m sure you don’t let this apply to your defence or forwards, who are by this logic much much WORSE than the analytics show since they give up all these specific back door chances that the models just can’t analyze.

If your whole team is giving up a bunch more chances than the analytics show, that doesn’t say anything good about the rest of your team.
