What are you talking about? Wings would win this trade from a value / talent perspective. Jarnkrok is a better player than Veleno, although 8 years older, and Robertson outproduced Veleno last season, and is a year younger. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want Yzerman to make this trade, but it's because I prefer the combination of size, physicality, youth, and cap flexibility over the much older Jarnkrok and the diminutive Robertson, but don't act like the value is off here. It's not.

Wings pass, maybe if you know the history between the player and the club you would understand. This is a pass all day pal, wings will never take Calle and Robertson has 0 value. We wouldn't take them for free let alone for a player

LOL history between what player and what club? Jarnkrok and the Red Wings? He was drafted in the 2nd round, massively overhyped by Red Wings fans, and traded before ever playing a single game with the big club. It happens. If you're saying there's some crazy back story to this, there most definitely wasn't. And if Jarnkrok were 5 years younger, he'd be a great fit for the Red Wings. Robertson has zero value? LOL I guess the same goes for Berggren too then?

If he was 5 years younger which he isn't

He requested a trade from Detroit and doesn't want to be part of the organization and the wings don't want players like thet around as well. It's a pass all day.

Bergs has about triple the value of Robertson after this year's ahl playoff run.

If you read what I said, I wouldn't make the trade either *for this reason*, but again, the value is definitely there, unlike what you said "0% close"...

If you have a link with a quote of him requesting out, or even a reputable Detroit reporter, please post it. It never happened. I'm sure he enjoyed his time with the organization, and would probably welcome a return back to Detroit. The Red Wings organization / Yzerman definitely don't hold anything against him. This is a dumb rumor. Stop spreading misinformation. In fact, here's a real quote from Jarnkrok the day he was traded...

“I was shocked a little bit. A lot of things were going around in my head.”
“I’m going to miss all the guys, miss the team, the coaches and everything, but it seems like a good opportunity,”

No he doesn't. They're both undersized wingers projected to play in the middle six. They have produced roughly the same in the AHL and NHL, and Robertson is a year younger. At this point in their development, they're virtual the same player with very similar value. Saying Robertson has zero value is just wrong.

There won't be an article this is so many years ago when Holland was still running it. He requested a trade and the wings accommodated him and sent him to nash for Legwand. Either way trade won't happen

I'm aware of when the trade happened. I'm also aware of the circumstances surrounding the trade (unlike you). Jarnkrok never requested a trade out of Detroit. Why does it matter how long ago it was or who was running the team at the time? The trade happened 10 years ago. That doesn't precede the internet. If he requested a trade, there would be an article stating it as such somewhere on the internet. There isn't though because it never happened. And even if he did request a trade when he was 21, that doesn't mean he wouldn't welcome a trade back to that team when he's 32, under completely different management.
