Its funny how it's only "realistic" when the Leafs lose by a wide margin. Markstrom is not worth half this. He's not a top goalie. And has been worse than Woll for the past 2 seasons.

32 games played versus 100+. What do you think Liljegren and Robertson are worth? Ones a proven choke artist and the other is as injury prone as the glass woll.

You'd have to be really dense to think Lily and Robertson have much value. They can't even hold down a spot on the top heavy Leafs and are RFAs now. A late 1st sure isn't getting Markstrom either.

we can argue on the value of Markstrom but saying he's been "worse than Woll" for the past 2 seasons is picking one hell of a cherry. Woll hasn't even played half a season's worth of games in his career yet, and you could make a strong argument that they were more or less equal this year - Markstrom had a .905 SV% and 2.78 GAA, with 2.3 Goals Saved Above Average in 48 GP; Woll was .907/2.94/2.3 in the same categories. Go on MoneyPuck and look at their goalie metrics, and they're almost neck and neck in almost every category.

Is that worth this package? Maybe not, but arguing that Markstrom has been worse than Woll is ignoring the stats and the size of the samples.
