Why would Ana “hang up immediately “? A 1st, a top prospect, and a real Defenseman. Plus Carlo is cheap and can lead their young players.
I don’t know what Ana thinks they are going to get for Zegras.

No, Carlo would be a required piece for us, it's a matter of is there enough value in a late 1st (probably a bottom 6 player) Lysell (probably a 3rd liner) and Carlo (2nd pairing RHD)

Don't worry Bruins likely don't even make the offer as they know top shut down D men on friendly contracts are hard to find (Carlo). He is a top 4 D pairing and top 2 PK player. Not to mention adding Lysell and the 1st.

Zegras is an elite player with loads of raw talent, sells jerseys and puts up some highlight reel plays/goals, but has a brutal two way game and can't win a faceoff. He would look good in Boston on the Wing where they can limit his responsibility and let his play making go, but alas this likely doesn't work and both teams say we can't find a fit.
