A lot of valuable pieces on Dallas

I just dont think Dallas needs to do a big move like that.

they have the pieces that is for certain but even as high as I am on Brady, it is probably in their best interest to keep the players it'd cost to pry Brady out of Ottawa

They have young solid pieces for the long-term so will likely be competitive for years to come, which probably helps them from overreacting. Their big moves if they have any will likely come via FA.

Their Dcore is going to need revamping sooner or later, so maybe they pick up a guy like Lindgren via trade if the Rangers can't sign him. He would be the perfect replacement for Lindell who will probably cost too much to keep around. If they are interested in returning, I think Pavelski and Tanev get signed for a year and 2 or 3 respectively. Alternatively, they could go for a guy like Pesce or Matt Roy instead of Tanev. Maybe we'll see Klingberg return on a cheap deal or Sean Walker unless they are still betting on Lundkvist.

That’s because he really isn’t a fit for Dallas. Stars should be concentrating on transitioning to the younger core. Maybe adding a defenseman if Tanev isn’t staying

Stars should not be considering a trade for this player at all. Dallas has so many young players that are about to hit their prime in a couple of years, and the team will be better than they were this year. No need to send out more assets to acquire this one player that is not needed.

Lots of rumors, Staios shot it down…as any GM would. In today’s day and age, you’re not keeping things quiet for that long. Lots of smoke, Brady wants to win, that’s the biggest reason we’re hearing all these rumors. Sens still have lots of question marks. My personal opinion, if Staios gets a crazy offer this summer, they trade Brady. Now if this upcoming season goes bad, meaning no playoffs…Brady def gets traded next offseason or at deadline.

I wasn’t saying they should trade for Brady…it was a joke. Basically saying, every other team has a proposal out there for him, I haven’t seen one w Dallas. That’s why I posted it. All out of fun.
