I don’t see the benefit to COL doing that trade, it doesn’t create a lot of cap space and while I like McBain I don’t think he is a good fit stylistically.

While the draft picks are nice, Daccord has been the lone bright spot in goal for the Kraken in their short 3 seasons, so unless they swing a deal (sign or trade) that they feel improves at that position, I can't see Daccord being available.

I think giving up Vejmelka (who admittedly had a pretty mediocre season) with that much retention is probably worth more than just a 3rd.

I'm not sure if he's the first choice, or even in consideration for the Kings as the 1A for next season. Ingram completely outplayed him in the crease last year, so I cant really make the excuse about the team in front of him either.

I’d rather have Necas and Drury than Kerfoot and bjugstad. The picks are fine but they’re not really going to do much in the way of flipping since they’re all mid round picks value wise.

Throw guys like schmaltz or Crouse in and take out the rest and we can have a conversation.
