Swayman isn't worth that ask either. The 10 AND Mercer? The Devils tell both these teams to **** off.

If the Devils are getting a Bruins goalie, it's Ullmark. It's not Swayman. If Sway asks too much for Boston to sign him, he'll ask the same of NJ or any other team.

Because if they got this offer they'd be braindead not to. Mercer is worth more than Zegras on his own right now. A top 10 pick as well?

To be fair, they want the first next year... which could well be also 10OA if this team doesn't address the gaps in their line-up, which is way more than just goaltending.

the trade is ridiculous, but also - how can you look at zegras and think, "now there's a bruin." they would ship him out of town so fast.

The Devils pick isn’t a guaranteed top 10 pick. Zegras has a higher point per game and higher upside than Mercer. It makes little sense for Anaheim to trade Zegras for futures when they’re finally entering the stage of fighting for a playoff spot.
