Like you said, overpay on Pinto, but he would fill a big need and that’s probably what would get Ottawa to consider moving him. Also we can just sign someone better than Armia, no need to pay assets for him.

Well if Norris is healthy to play we don't need him to play C right now lol. But if Norris gets hurt than we still have a dude who can play top 6 C. It's not only Necas for Pinto, we get to get rid of Korpi, get Fast who's good defensively and pick #27~

Necas is only 25 also so it's not like he doesn't fit our timeline, he fits in perfectly.

I don’t mind this but I don’t really want to go into season with this goaltending. Freddy has his issues too but this seems like a longer term risk. If we can take Korpi out and figure out some other tweaks I’d do something like this.

Norris most likely aint going to play C again he will most likely be 2LW, and moving Necas from W to C in case of injury leaves open a whoping hole on the W, this is a bad move for OTT and make zero sense to do and there i zero chance CAR is taking on Korpi they want to win...

I’m pretty sure I view Mercer very similar to ottawa fans view Pinto, and I’d do Palat+Mercer for Necas+1st+Fast+Freddy for sure.
