Description

first trade

trying to match what matthew tkatchuk fetched (matheson=weegar, huberdeau = the 2 first rounds and reinbacher (top 5 pick) and a 2nd in 2025 plus DVO for cap purposes

trade the 5th oa this year plus anderson (cap purposes) and a third for zegras

TBL is in a cap crunch and jeannot is expandable so for the same cap hit you get a serviceable harris + RHP and a b prospect in heineman and 2 third round picks

since in advancing the timeline for the rebuild we trade away fowler and barron for askarov / not sure if its enough, however we have enough prospect to add if need be.

that montour contract will bite us in the ass in the later years but it offers you a solid top 9 and more meat and potatoes

young D core with Savard and montour with the experience and guhle is a stud so that can help and we have the sherrif with mailloux (might be shaky)

give hutson the proper vet in order to let him thrive offensively

get a tandem going with both goalies

I’m seriously so tired of seeing Zegras to Montreal threads day after day on this site.
