Description

Friedman says Vancouver like Necas and Kotkaniemi, this makes sense. Friedman also says KK is not going to be bought out because the Hurricanes think he's still got the potential to breakout, which I agree with

Ullmark was apparently talked about between the two franchises at the deadline. I think Freddie makes more sense to retain, but I don't hate this idea if the cost is right.

They love the player, they're likely to pay for him, and it's why they wanted Kotkaniemi as part of the Pettersson talks before the deadline according to Friedman, they want Kotkaniemi, regardless of the deal, and they're not the only team. That contract isn't bad either btw

Bruh Staal ain’t waiving 😂😂😂😂 and the canes can’t terminate his contract for no reason. They’ll still have to pay him which would make no sense.

They have what they need. Skinner is their starter & they'll sign a backup for around $1M (maybe Pickard again).
