While you’re not wrong, teams like the leafs cannot make this offer without depleting a years worth of draft picks. The leafs already don’t have any draft picks in the first four rounds of the 2025 draft, why would they want to deplete even more draft picks for a goalie on an expiring contract? If Ullmark has to move, it won’t be for full value, it’ll be to the highest bidder.

Ohh definitely don't think the Leafs make a move for Ullmark - just saying as a Leafs fan, that's a light return.

I think if the Bruins trade within the Atlantic the price will go up and they'd pit the leafs against the sens and wings offers to try and get a premium.
