Would rather the Jackets kept Werenski and Voronkov over Sergachev and Cirelli, and the rest of the trade doesn't get Nylander from the leafs.

So Voronkov is very good, not a spare part at all. Texier is completely serviceable in the top 9 and has upside. Provorov allows team to stay competitive this coming season after moving off sergachev and the most important part of this whole thing from Tampa's angle is they gain cap space to keep stamkos with room to spare to keep tinkering. Voronkov can be a cheaper 2C and gives a different look for the 2nd line, more power forward than Cirelli.

Stop with the Bull 💩 narrative they need to move Sergachev, Cirelli, and or Cernak to resign Stamkos and he forces that let him.walk. TB was 5th in GF 23 in goals against so they trade one of the best defensive fowards in the game for someone who may or may not become as good as Cirelli history says not. Texier who's unreliable and a third liner. This is criminally stupid. They were 23 in GA 5th in GF so the get worse defensively in the foward group, worse defensively on the blueline to add a few goal horrendous!!!

Sergachev isn't a top 20 dman and Cirelli is a poor team's 2C.

Put down the hallucinogens Cirelli has 2 rings as a 2C. You're delusional if you don't think Sergachev is a top 20 defenseman

Are you saying TB isn't Getting screwed? Or do you think TB Getting screwed is funny and a good thing? I'm guessing the latter.

Im saying TB is getting ridiculously screwed. The Leafs are too. But not as bad a TB.
The only pieces of real value in this deal are all going to CBJ.
TB and TO are getting cast offs and cap dumps in exchange for stars.

Thought so. I'll be honest as a TB fan if Treliving wants to make a really dumb deal I won't be upset. As I'm almost as certain you wouldn't if Julien Brisebois did.

Leafs wont be making any deals with teams inside the division.
None of the teams inside the division are capable of taking on the money of a guy like Marner anyways. And the Leafs dont want to be taking a bunch of bad cap back or it defeats the purpose.
I have no idea what TB is doing. Bringing back all that extra cap with McDonagh was an odd choice. But obviously they have a plan. They have some work to do. Its crazy that with the huge advantage they have of no tax. Basically being able to save 20% of their cap space on every deal in comparison to Canadian teams. That they can be in cap trouble and not winning the cup every other year. We will see. I have no doubt that they will find a way to get Stammer resigned.

Florida,VGK, Dallas they all have serious cap issues with the same tax advantages. And 20%isva but overblown they still have to pay state income tax on games played in new York,New Jersey etc that do have state income tax.it comes closer to about 6-8%

No. Its about 20%. Check the difference of what their players sign for. Kuch Point etc. In comparison to a Matthews or McDavid in Canada. Those guys should be very close in cap hit per year. But they are not even close. Thats totally from the tax issue. Example. JT takes home just under 8m. Its something like 7.8m of his 11m contract. That same contract in SJ or FLA or TB would only need to be about 8.3 to take home the same amount.
Its funny those teams you mentioned. Do you see how any of those teams have a common theme? They are all the best teams and winning all the cups lolol Im sure thats a coincidence though lol

Part of that is also guys taking less to win and wanting to live here. The actual difference in take home is about 6-8% TB uses bonus liberally which sometimes brings AAV down a little. Tell yourself it's all taxes🙄. You clearly haven't a clue about what your speaking. You put San Jose California and Tampa Florida in the same tax situation. You couldn't have actually looked that up.

OK. Well good luck.
Cant speak to those who wont listen.

And the federal tax rate for TB is 38% and they pay state tax on all games not played in Florida,, Texas, Tennessee, Nevada Washington (Seattle) so that'll probably come to near 6-10 making a players between 44-48%. You're correct you can't talk to someone who won't listen hope that helped.
