A) Marino I expect to bounce back next year and B) the available UFA RHD next year being MUCH worse

And imo an 8 team NTC isn't enough to be worried about . It will likely be the canadian teams+utah (no idea about the last teams).

I guess if Toronto or Ottawa want to offer a haul this year to get ahead of it I'd take it, but otherwise I'll take what I view as a free year of Marino (who we very much need), and sell him for as much, if not more next year.
