They're young and can compete for a roster spot, Toronto is in a position to allow them to develop unlike Buffalo needing them to produce

Jack Quinn was on pace for 27 goals this year with having a torn Achilles and broken ankle. While having a 37 point rookie year AHL rookie of the year in 21-22 he doesn’t need anymore developing he’s a very good top 6 winger. Benson is already a good NhL player at 18 with a 30 point season.
