You're not getting Evangelista out of Nashville. That would be like you all trading Knies. He's one of the few young players we have on the roster who is contributing regularly

So many things wrong with this...
    1) That trade for Andersson sucks for the Flames
    2) Jarnkrok for a 6th??? terrible for the leafs
    3) Liljegren for a 2nd is absurd, maybe a 5th
    4) Nashville never trades Evangelista even if Marner is involved; maybe Tomasino but they would need to add more to the deal
    5) David Kampf gets you at least a 6th in return
    6) Goalie situation not addressed
    7) Noesen is not a 4th liner
    8) Cowan and Minten are not ready for full-time NHL action, they may experiment but the fact that there is no replacement player for them in case they fail or get hurt is worrisome
    9) Wayyyy too much money on Robertson and slightly too much money on Liljegren

Side note: Mcdonagh is really not good and way too overpaid

You have those two pick in the Tor/Chi trades backwards. The 2nd should be going to Chicago, the 5th to Toronto.

So you think it takes a 2nd to move Lilypad? That's quite a take!

    1. Flames got about the same for Hanifin
    2. Yes, salary dump
    3. A bit optimistic, could easily be changed to 4th or 5th
    4. Also optimistic. I dont think Evangelista is going to be a 100 point player though. Preds need scoring
    5. I dont think the Hawks would give anything up to bring back Kampf.
    6. Woll is the guy when he is healthy. Goalie market is so thin and I definitely dont want Samsonov back
    7. Hes literally on the 4th line in Carolina
    8. They almost made the team last year. They have to play eventually
    9. Robertson will be a 20 goal scorer someday on a different team. 2.5 is not crazy at all.

Well, you're asking for a top pairing RD on a sub 5m contract for 2 more years.

    1st
Blue chip prospect (and I mean an ACTUAL blue chip prospect, not Fraser Minten)

    1) Andersson is much better and significantly younger with terms on his contract as opposed to Hanifin who resigned with the Knights afterward. Plus the going rate at the deadline was cheaper than market value. If you don't believe me then look at all the deals from the Trade Deadline
    2) Jarnkrok gets way more than a 6th in return LOL thats a terrible trade and we don't need his cap flipped. he's on a great deal and is productive
    3) Fair
    4) I think he can be an 85-90 point guy easily and he's still only 22. He doesn't get moved. 39pts in 80 games as a 22-year-old is a good production, he could easily jump to 40-50 next season
    5) He is a capable player with a huge defensive upside. The contract is a bit pricey but the Hawks can afford it. He also has a decent offensive upside given the role that he is given, plus he is a face off merchant
    6) The issue is that if he gets injured then the Leafs are screwed... he could also have a poor stretch like he did last year and then you have garbage to back him up. Hildeby is not ready so don't play him it could hurt his development. He also hasn't proven that he can carry a massive load of games like 50-65
    7) He put up 37 points and you're paying him almost 3M. If he is on the 4th line that would be absurd. He is in Carolina but he is only making 762K so it's not as bad. Also Carolina has much better depth than the Leafs
    8) Yes sure maybe a 1-2 game stint but full time? Definitely not, they're not proven and you have not signed any back-up forwards in case they struggle. It only hurts development if that happens
    9) Robertson isn't even put onto the lines you set lol, there is no room for him at 2.5M, and sure maybe someday but he will always be a 3rd liner. He likely gets a short-term deal at around 1.1M-1.3M to see if he can improve or recreate his previous season
