Yeah, a lot of fans get caught up in value, but that is far less important than fit. If the Jets have a choice between 1 year of Ehlers and 1 of Chychrun, I'd want the Jets to pick Ehlers every time.

If Chychrun was an RHD and had term on a reasonable contract, I'd be all for it, but as an LHD he's just not worth the cost for the Jets.
