Description

If Toronto is looking to move on from the CORE-4 era, is Marner on the trading block this offseason?

Calgary: ->can use Marner as a trade chip along with other UFAs (Sharangovich, Kuzmenko, Mangiapane, etc.) to get a big return on prospects and draft picks at 2025 trade dealine.
Toronto: ->Andersson can be a defenceman to pair up with Morgan Rielly; Markstrom can be a goalie replacement for Ilya Samsonov.

Trade Rasmus Andersson and Jakob Markstrom, 2nd round pick 2025 and conditional 2nd round pick 2026 to Toronto for Mitch Marner, William Villenueve (prospect), conditional 1st round pick 2026 and 3rd round pick 2026
Condition(s): Toronto’s 2026 1st round pick is top 10 protected
Calgary’s 2026 2nd round pick will only be given to Toronto if Toronto loses 2026 1st round pick to Calgary
