Byfield would need to improve and become a franchise forward to be worth that. Good player so far with potential, but that would be enormously risky for what he has proven so far.

Going to be a fun offseason for utahs first, basically exactly what they need, at 2c and possibly use some of those seconds to lighten the cost and term and go a different way on the blueline. Veji/hayton/ and probably soderstrom probably time to move on and move on and upgrade.

It's so hard to say nowadays. I see Power 8.3, Cat near 8, Meier over 8, PLD at 8, Caulfield near 8, Sanderson at 8. Cap bump too. Buying UFA years gets a bit crazy these days. Maybe a bit lower would work thinking about guys like Cozens and Bratt but hard to say.
