Not sure what La gain in this deal. Hayes can’t skate no more and Krug is at the end of his career. Dubois will for sure bounce back.

Not sure about the buzz around Dubois. He had a terrible year for sure but he remain a good players and the chance that he bounce back are better than to fall apart.

Anytime someone has a down year or a bad series or the team has a bad year, trade rumors pop up

Two summers ago, the biggest cap dump on CapFriendly was Sergei Bobrowsky. "Worst contract in the NHL!!"

While I dont doubt that Dubois is physically a good player. I wouldn't want my team to be on the hook for a long-term contract with him. He's been shipped around too much and had "issues" at about each place he's been too.

Krug and Hayes don't really help LA. Krug is still a pretty good passer but is a really unreliable defender. Your pretty much trading a high-risk contract in Dubois for 2 shorter term junk contracts in Krug and Hayes. They're both still NHL players, but personally I'd avoid all 3 of the contracts if the opportunity arose.
