I hate the idea of giving marner that big of a contract.

Like everything except for marner. I'm a hawks fan first but from Toronto so a leafs fan too unfortunately. I don't want him anywhere near Chicago, he's whiny, not a playoff performer, and will be a waste of 12 mil when it counts. I really like the culture the blackhawks are building in this new era and marner has no place in it. Stoked to see how the draft goes and the steps forward next season

Demidov will definitely be ready. He's very very good as is and will be playing against men in the KHL next year. Maybe Moore goes to Rockford for a year, we'll see

Politics may keep him out of KHL. He is refusing to sign a contract, so they likely wont promote him to KHL.

Even better. He's only not signing a KHL contract so he can come to the NHL
