Well, Vancouver seems to be doing pretty good without one, Carolina does as well,

Toronto although not a lot of playoff success, that’s not a forward issue and it’s certainly not an issue Brady Tkachuk would solve, Matthew maybe, but their issue is mainly on the backend.

New Jersey was great last year and not so much this year, not sure what to credit that to. Maybe they could use him?

St Louis doesn’t really need him, Neighbors has kind of filled that role as a net front, physical player

Buffalo is a jumbled mess but they have a couple of guys that fit that bill.

Almost every team would love to have him sure. But you could say that about 5 or 6 guys on most teams.

The question is how much more of being terrible is a guy like that who comes from a family that is notorious about looking out for themselves most in terms of franchise they play for and how much money they are paid.going to put up with?

Ottawa shouldn’t trade Tkachuk unless they have to. He has all of the tools to be an absolute menace. He just hasn’t refined the details to his game the way Matthew has. Good news for him is he has a really good support system. Bad news for Ottawa is that support system knows how to get themselves in the best situation possible for themselves.

Ottawa’s issue is not offence . It’s the fact that they had a -40 saves below expected that the goalies should’ve saved and they have too many puck moving Dmen at the expense of net front clearing tough Dmen

I’d classify JT Miller as a high end power forward for the Canucks (better player but not as physical as Brady)

The Canucks were desperate to trade him but no one wanted to offer them anything of value 💀

Canucks weren’t ever desperate to trade him lmao. Teams were calling on him but we didn’t want to trade him

You’d be ecstatic if Brady became the player Miller is now btw

Brady and Miller had the same amount of goals . And Brady led the league in primary points . I’m sorry he didn’t pile up the secondary assists because the Sens weren’t an offensive firepower like the Canucks . Brady is easily 40+ goals 90+ pts on another team.

Not that points always tell the whole story

You’re right points don’t tell the full story. But Miller did also have 16 more primary points. And the Canucks only scored 24 more goals than Ottawa, it’s not like they were terrible offensively

Plus Miller is also better defensively and a much better leader than crybaby Brady

Forwards do need to understand how to play a safe responsible game as well outside of a few game breakers. It’s not as black and white as defensemen and goalies are bad (I don’t disagree that there is an issue there) but their forwards aren’t really the most reliable either which they need given the structure of their defense.
