That looks like a one line team

Anders Lee is a 1st round pick to take. Maybe more. That's a BRUTAL contract for a capped out team to take. Lee also probably blocks any Canadian team as an American. Toronto getting back two mid round 1sts for Marner isn't good value.

Pageau has negative value, we'd have to give something up to move him. Toronto is in win now mode-they don't need 1sts so the Marner move makes no sense for them-especially taking on a huge dead cap contract like Lee's. Nelson's trade is reasonable and I could see that happening.

Toronto would rather sit through one year of Marner @ 10.9 than two more of Lee @ 7M, takes a first to move Lee too. Toronto needs to prioritize adding defense, so I'm not sure a cap dump of a forward really does anything for them

1) Nashville has a ton of space and wouldnt need retention if they were interested
2) Nashville isnt close enough to contending that theyd be giving up 1st round picks for a mid 30 year old player

take out lee and add dobson or pulok and you have a deal.

I would love to see this happen. Marner would walk in 2025 when Lou's carrier pigeons arrive 4 weeks too late.
