Seider and Raymond take bridge deals for 4 years so we can compete now for playoffs with Yzerman's gentleman's agreement they will get 10-10.5M + on the next 4 year deal so they average 8-8.5M over 8 so run it back better!

Seider does that why? If it's 8 years average using your idea that's still about 1.5- 2 million per year under market value for him on an 8 year deal.

Lol, this team is not a Matt Roy away from being a Cup contender.

People really need to stop trying to dump their unwanted bottom 6 left shot forwards on Calgary. Flames already have more of those than we know what to do with. Unless it's a very good player/propsect or maybe a big mean hard checking defensively responsible guy they won't be interested.

I think what people don’t get is that in order to eventually win a cup, they have to make the playoffs for a couple year first to get experience, this team could be a Matt Roy away from losing in the first round, and that could be the experience their young guys really need

I wouldn't deny that. And I'd be down for a Roy signing for sure.

... But the thread title literally says "All in" like we'd be a Cup contender lol.

Ah didn’t read that maybe he meant all in for a “playoff push” 🤣

Yzerman has a lot of trust and respect in the Detroit dressing room, but he's also continuesly shown an unwillingness to sign older players to long term contracts, Seider and Raymond would be taking a risk of they take bridge deals

This team can still compete for the playoffs without bridge deals and especially without the likes of Perron on the roster for $3.5M a year.

    older players? lol

You could argue that neither would be in their prime by the time those contracts ended.

27 & 26 is firmly in their primes and would push Yzerman into FA years which drives up the price of a each player. Add the fact that Yzerman would be signing them into their 30s and it is a risk for both players.

Ya that's why he didn't commit to Larkin... Oh wait.

It could be, but each player would have at leasty 5-6 more years of prime play.

They likely don't take bridge deals, but it's not a risk. Especially if they earn those extra years.
