Not sure why Utah would want to "dump" Schmaltz and Kerfoot, they were pretty good for AZ. But, I think CHI could have interest if they do want their contracts gone.

Utah have a ton of cap and they will go for statement vet signings I think...Stamkos, Marchy, Montour, Tanev, Dillon...not surprised if they do a Messi type deal for Crosby...go Utah HC!!!

PHNX podcast hinted (basically admitted) Schmaltz sandbags it. Maybe he might enjoy riding shotgun with Bedard without the pressure to win now. Kerfoot is a solid veteran scorer all situations guy. CHI could use some short term veteran contracts.

You want to give Logan Cooley & Guenther space to flourish. Stephenson & Drouin are perfect complimentary players & bring a winning history. Their Forwards have a lot of depth already, so major additions should really be on the back end. You get more bang for your buck on defense, so that's why I went big with Pesce and Walker. You could even add Skjei or Ghost Bear to really beef up the D. They have the draft capital to spend big on rentals too. I would be careful about committing huge term/money on a big name Forward like Stamkos, Guentzel, or Reinhart.

They won't be careful or over think things like Seattle did...they will build a love at first site team...just like Vegas did...ALL IN BABY!!!
