Description

McMann didn't skate today, so I'll assume he's out again tomorrow. The 2LW spot will primarily have Knies, but Nylander and Jarnkrok will alternate through depending on offensive/defensive need. Only reason Jarnkrok is listed on the 3rd line is for balance and to give the 3rd line a good two-way guy. Seems like a lot of fans want Woll to start over Sammy, and while I 100% prefer Woll, Sammy has been the hot hand and he probably goes again tomorrow.

Prediction: Leafs win 6-2, with one of them being an empty net.

Best Player: Matthews (2G, 1A)

Biggest Disappointment/Non-Factor: Holmberg

Sammy won a lot in spite of his poor play. Even taking out the incredibly poor start. He still allowed 3 goals a game. Woll should have been given more games to get into the groove.

Leash cant be so tight we choke the dog to death. Look at last year

Sammy lost 7-3 game 1 then won 7-2 game 2 then despite meh numbers helped TOR win the series in 6 having his best game in that final marchup to TBL

Yeah I 100% agree with you. If Woll had strung a few solid games together before the playoffs, I think I’d be fine with him starting tomorrow. However, it should absolutely be Samsonov’s net until he makes it clear it shouldn’t be.
