Description

Massive overpay for Dumba… too light a trade return on Chychryn… no big change to the culture… I’m just assuming the best players are basically untradeable and that the big UFAs this summer cannot be recruited.

In terms of goalie deals, I tried to find a realistic 1A type on the market but unless Swayman or Spencer Knight are by some miracle, I don’t see a trade target in the right age range. So I picked Broissoit because it would be amazing if he’s actually a 1A in waiting.

That D is worse than last year. A stud right shot Dman like Ekblad would be worth moving salary around for.

Why would the Canes pay that for someone who 1) sucked quite hard this past season, and 2) would be playing 3LD for the Canes. Chychrun no longer has the term that made him a valuable asset when he was traded.
