The Dream off-season

Créé par: Kris1983

Description
Win the draft lottery, sign Sam Reinhart, trade some young D and draft capital to upgrade the Defense, doesn't necessarily have to be Cernak, but Tampa trading Cernak will give them some cap room to keep Stamkos.

The rookies Hutson and Reinbacher aren't gamebreakers one way or another but are solid and show promise for the future.

Tampa is not doing it.

Not really a good way to sell Dvorak for next TDL when he is on the bench.

Didn’t sign Barron??

Giving 3M to Xhekaj so that he can stay on the bench? Expensive extra D.

oh I didn't post the habs side of that trade, my ba. . .

wait.. there it is. . I see a 1st round pick and two defensemen that had better offensive seasons on a team without a Brayden Point or Kucherov on their team

Cernak is one of the best defensive dmen in the league, not saying the offer isn't enough but personally I wouldn't trade Cernak to keep Stamkos, because it's only a matter of time before Stamkos regresses/retires, Cernak will help keep Tampa competitive for longer

Tampa passes, Erik Cernak is worth way more with $1,200,000 retained for the next 7 years.

And Sam Reinhart isn't wasting his time on a rebuilding Habs team either.

Much like Panarin wouldn't waste his time on a rebuilding Rangers I guess, eh?

Panarin always wanted the NYR since his Chicago days. I'm pretty sure that Sam Reinhart is looking at a cup contender not a cellar dweller.

It's not like TB Has Hedman, Sergachev, Raddysh all better offensive defenseman than you're giving and your return doesn't cover 7 F***ING years of retention nevermind a top pair shutdown defender DUH!!!

Cernak isnt on the team to be an offensive defenseman. Also there is plenty of cap space to bring back Stamkos without trading Cernak. Its just a matter of if management wants to give it to him. Cap isnt going to be the issue with keeping him.

This post proves you're clueless, Cernak is a shutdown defender TB doesn't give a rats a$$ if he doesn't score a goal all year any points Cernak gets are strictly icing on the cake. A 7-8 defenseman, and a guy who hasn't been able to regularly crack the lineup of one of the worst teams in the league 5 years post draft and a late 20's pick . TB counters Nick Suzuki 2.4 mil retained for Tanner Jeannot , Connor Sheary and a first equally as assinine as the moronic offer posted

I like your dream. It's not that far of a stretch even if I like Arber and John.
