Description

Connor Dewar is fine, but Robertson has that game breaking ability that can prove consequential in a tight playoff series. I think the Leafs should start with him in the lineup and if he is too much of a defensive liability then Dewar should draw in. Also, I like that with this line up Knies is on the 4th line, which puts less pressure on him to produce offensively. That 4th line can be a forechecking machine with Knies and Reaves punishing the Florida defence.

It was against Reimer but nonetheless...

His speed and shot could give Florida problems but Florida eats those small guys up in the playoffs.

The game is called or not called much different.

Small finesse guys struggle when the ice shrinks and dirtbags get away with more crap.

Florida has more dirtbags than any other team.

I say dirtbag as a compliment.

Here's the thing

He can score but away from the puck defense is not there

FLA is a tough forecheck team and you need defensive guys in the bottom 6 who can help prevent dangerous opportunities

Dewar and Jarnkrok are gonna be in. It sucks but thats what happens when a team has a bunch of good depth and some of those guys do things others dont

Like after watching them vs. DET do not want to see Knies-Kampf-Reaves as the 4th line. They just were not good

Yea, that's the risk of having him in the lineup. Size matters a lot in the playoffs. But every team needs a bit of youthful exuberance. That's why I think Dallas will win it all this year. They have a great mix of young and old, and guys in their prime.

Jimmy Nill drafts so well and Detroit has REALLY suffered at drafting since he left.

Jarnkrok 86 playoff games 5 goals, 17 assists. Who was a ghost last year against Florida.
