Détails additionnels:
Not fully sure on evaluation. I know Roy is a good player and I saw another ACGM with Rosen for Roy straight up, which works for me. Howden becomes a cap casualty and Korczak may not have a chance to crack the lineup with such a great defensive core, so perhaps the Knights are more inclined to move him with a pick and another good winger prospect.

Honestly this is exactly the type of offer that makes the Sens think. Anything less and it’s an easy decline.

I always said Quinn , 2024 1st and another good piece could be interesting . Even if the other piece is Wahlberg instead of Ostlund , I’d still consider it

It’s too much for the Sabres to do it in real life though
Brady isn’t a 100 point player- he just isn’t worth THAT much

Bro, what would you like from the Sabres for Brady lol? Peterka, Quinn, 2024 1st, 2025 1st, Benson and Tage?

We have guys that can be 100-point players, but we don't have anyone with Brady's skillset. It is definitely a ton to give up, but Brady still scores 30+ a year and is a big, mean, nasty power forward that we just don't have. He is what this team needs and I would be willing to overpay to get some of that in here (obviously).

Jack Quinn MAY possibly become a solid 1st liner , Ostlund is a middle 6 centre at best and that pick at 11 is good , probably a future 2nd liner / 2nd pair.

None of these pieces are as good as 115pt Huberdeau or 2 way #1D Weegar at the time of the trade

easy pass on Quinn, he is as injury prone as Norris/chabot and there is zero chance OTT will trade brady to a team within division and face him 4-5 times year + posible playoffs without a massive overpay

Huberdeau’s value wasn’t as a 115pt player though bc CGY was gonna be forced to give him that huge contract or he’d walk as a UFA- and it wasn’t hard to foresee he wasn’t gonna live up to that
Also, idk where u get that assessment of Ostlund
Everything I’ve seen has him as a good 2way top6 Center
And that’s obviously valuable
The injury hurt Quinn this year (obviously)
He’s likely to blow up next year like Peterka did this year
I frankly don’t think the Sabres would move him
And I’ve seen your posts about liking him, so don’t try & talk down his value- it’s insincere & unwarranted

A future top 6 centre doesn’t take him till his D+2 to post decent numbers in the SHL. That’s middle 6

Opinions vary
Not everyone develops at the same speed
And Ostlund is used heavily defensively

Looking up someone’s basic stats & using ONLY that to judge him is just absurd
Guys develop differently under different situations

If you want rentals go trade brady to Florida for Aaron Ekblad and Carter Verhaeghe

I don’t want rentals . Im just saying Quinn + 11th overall is not a horrible ask at all for Brady. If we can squeeze out Wahlberg sure too

It doesn’t matter what you’d do the trade with, Lol
U aren’t the Sens GM
Imo, this is too much for Brady, whether it’s Wahlberg OR Ostlund
Take our Quinn & u have a deal w me, (i know you’ll say no), but we aren’t the ones who have to agree anyways

They're both superstars in my eyes, and I would love to have a Tkachuk because they are just relentless. Brady could very well take a leap like Matthew. I just think that they desperately need a certain type of player and if you can get that type of player (gritty, hits, nasty) AND they can score 30+ goals and 30+ assists ... I would clearly pay a hefty price for that.

I like Brady Tkachuk too
But we’ve seen nothing so far from Adams to think he’d overpay like this to get a specific guy

Agreed. Adams is very calculated and cautious. The only way I can see him make a big, aggressive move is if he feels his back is against the wall, which I hope it is.

Well Granato got fired & i didn’t think that would happen
Adams hasn’t done a bad job imo though
He’s put together a really good amount of good young talent
Now it’s time to see what he’ll do with it
