Smitty turning pro

Description
1.) I think that Smith will be turning pro, and that turning pro is the best thing for his development. He genuinely has nothing left to learn at the college level. If he needs some time to be in the AHL that is 100% okey.
2.) God it would be so awesome to draft Celebrini, so many story lines and it seems like he would be genuinely happy to sign in San Jose.
3.) We NEEEEED to resign Cooley. He has brought tremendous vibes to the sharks org these last two weeks and he is a total sharks homer. I love him and think he would be an incredible 3rd goalie and help the Cuda make the playoffs finally.
4.) We need to find a real top pair D-man or someone who does better at moonlighting one to give Ferraro a friggin break.
5.) I hate it but we probably will need to trade one of Bords or Guschin as I dont see how we can fit Eklund Smith Bordeleau Guschin Granlund on the same squad without running into squad building issues.
6.) We should try and take one cap dump in the forward core for someone who is payed too much but has a nice all round game. I do not know of Copp fits the bill I dont watch the wings.
7.) Trade up to get a baller D man like Parekh or Buium

Hell No, No way are we dealing a 1st to move Copps contract. besides I seriously doubt he's waiving for a rebuilding team like San Jose.

Zero chance of Andrew Copp waiving for San Jose, And we sure aren't trading a 2nd to unload his contract.

I would let he vets take the top 6 minutes. Don't throw the kids to the wolves. It's gonna be bad for a bit, I'd consider the ahl to let them maybe win and form a culture

I wasn’t so sure either. I think it was on the athletic pod that identified him / one of their other centers as a squad building flaw in the sense that he’s not a good enough match up center. I also dont know the structure of his M-NTC, but it’s not always just the worst teams on those things.

Do you think the red wings shouldn’t dump him?

Certainly something to be said about this. Where I think smitty ends up in the AHL at some point. But the sharks and Quinn in particular I think deserve some credit for giving the kids big minutes and at very pivotal points in games this season so I’d imagine, as long as the kids are playing well enough to deserve it they would get the top the six minutes with occasional moves down the line up when they are hitting a wall, similar to how he has managed eklund this season.

I would assume it's all 7 Canadian teams, Arizona, Chicago and San Jose. But I could be wrong on the American teams.

As far as trying to unload on Copp. I doubt it unless Yzerman has his eyes on a bigger fish and needs to unload on Copps salary Lalonde and Yzerman really seem to like Copp and with him being a local boy and all. I can't see them unloading him. Perhaps the last season he gets bought out if he continues to struggle. But more than likely we're stuck with him for another two years.

I do believe he is talking about San Jose, and the reason it might not be on his no trade list

I was referring to SJ.
I would love if people did say that about Detroit though in the sarcastic sense. Lets start the trend.
