I'm not going to get into a huge thing, I will just say this: Kyrou scores at a higher 5v5 rate, he's a better 200 ft player and he's signed longer. I'm not sure what metric you're using, but yeah, Kyrou should by all rights be worth more.

And if you add in a trade request situation, there's no contest. Not even close.

Plenty of people are moving to Utah. It's one of the fastest growing states.

The bigger question is why do players leave? Keller has four full seasons left on his contract. Unless he wants to retire from pro hockey, and play beer league hockey, his request for a trade is kinda meaningless.

Teams often trade disgruntled players. Sabres fans would know.

That's true. And Sabres got good value in the trade., But betcha there are eight players per team, (some have more), who don't like their situation. Don't like their minutes, use, their coach, the city, the organization. Teams just can't pander to "unhappy" players. So 7m Keller gets traded to a "favourable" team. Maybe a trade needs similar cap going back to Arizona....meaning a good player. Don't you think player being traded to the disaster in the desert would want out to? Where does it end?

Not really the point, SLC is a great city, but it has 200,000 people

While Phoniex has 1.5 million. If they have problems filling a stadium now, thing how badly the problem will be in SLC
